Hello My name is Giesila McGuire, owner of Binyard Specialty Cleaning. I’m a trained and certified cleaning instructor of ISSA’s and the Cleaning Management Institute, and will teach the following professional certifications in Omaha: Custodian Technician Training Basic and Advance, and Global Biorisk Advisory Council Training, GBAC Online Fundamentals 2.0. In addition, a new trend is emerging in the cleaning industry called Green Cleaning. Use of toxic cleaning chemicals not only causes harm to custodians and building occupants but also harms the environment. A one hour power point Introducing Green Cleaning history and objectives will be incorporated into the first week lecture content.

Purpose: This program offers standardized cleaning education, training, and certification in Nebraska to empower both entry-level and experienced cleaning technicians with the skills needed to perform their duties effectively, especially during challenging times like a global pandemic.

Objective: his program aims to offer cleaning job applicants a training certification as an alternative to work experience, while also providing entry-level training, retraining, and skills enhancement to boost productivity and career growth within the industry.

Location: Metropolitan Community College South Express, Room 110, 3002 S 24th Street, Omaha Ne.
Training Date​: November 2nd, 2024 - December 7th, 2024 (Saturdays only)
